These plates are made from bamboo fibre. Ultimately they are biodegradable . . . .though I’m not sure how many years you would have to bury them in your compost heap for this to take place!

They are ideal for children as are comparatively unbreakable and are also free from phthalates.

Each of these plates is roughly the size of a large side plate and each features a different colourway of the same Miffy print. One in which she is sitting in front of her own plate, knife and fork. She is wearing a different coloured top on each plate and the table settings are also different colours.

Dutch author, artist and illustrator Dick Bruna’s iconic little bunny character, Miffy, needs very little introduction. First drawn in 1955, Miffy has appeared in over 30 books and appeals to children all over the globe. Her original name is derived from a Dutch word which means ‘little bunny’ but, as its very difficult to pronounce, she became ‘Miffy’ to her international audience.
